Entré (Entrance)
Kunsthal Nord
Entré (Solo and jointly with Krista Rosenkilde and Astrid Marie Christiansen), Aalborg
An art nouveau inspired art installation at the Kunsthal Nord in Aalborg, Denmark.
For the exhibition Entrance (Entré) I transformed the rough walls of Kunsthal Nord to an luxuriant, art nouveau inspired art installation.
On top of a large scale moss covered podium situated central in the room, a table draped in copper plates folded to look like a cloth is placed. On top of the table a big folk art inspired ceramic woman figur with 30 eyes on her dress. All the eyes cry and the water runs silently from her over the table cloth and down to the moss covered podium. The water changed the surface during the exhibition period and marked its running paths.
On the walls copper paintings and ceramic mask wall pots with ivy.
