Bird Vessels

The Bird Vessels explore the vessel as both body and shelter. Hand-built in porcelain, the surfaces are developed through layered glazes, creating variations in colour, texture and depth that give each vessel its own character.

Birds appear as symbols of freedom, migration and vulnerability, while the ceramic vessel evokes the body as something that carries, protects and contains.
